Університет Аалтозасуджує вторгнення Росії в Україну та висловлює свою підтримку Україні та її науковій спільноті. Ми прагнемо надавати різні форми підтримки постраждалим від війни.

Через війну фінансове становище багатьох студентів Аалто стало або буде ускладнюватися. Зараз ми досліджуємо форми фінансової підтримки цих студентів. Крім того, ми пропонуємо навчальні місця та стипендії українським студентам, які навчаються в українських університетах, а також студентам, які отримали притулок з України. Ми плануємо потенційні шляхи допомоги дослідникам, які працюють на полях Аалто, які прибувають сюди як біженці.
Ми подбали про те, щоб робота та навчання українських співробітників і студентів Aalto не були перервані під час війни. Ми також контактуємо з російськими та білоруськими членами нашої спільноти для надання підтримки. Наша спільнота випускників також висловила свою рішучу підтримку Україні та українському народу. Рада мережі випускників Aalto попросила випускників про ідеї щодо того, як допомогти людям, які потребують допомоги.
Університет Аалто дотримується рекомендації Міністерства освіти і культури утримуватися від будь-якої співпраці з російськими партнерськими організаціями.
Ми не будемо ініціювати нові проекти, а існуючу співпрацю поки призупинимо. Ми будемо дотримуватися порад щодо подорожей Міністерства закордонних справ, яке закликає людей уникати поїздок в Україну, Росію та Білорусь. Ми будемо активно працювати над пошуком альтернативних місць обміну для тих, хто планує поїхати на студентський обмін до цих країн.
Координатори обміну кожної школи нададуть подальшу допомогу в цьому питанні. Незалежно від критичної ситуації та нашої національності, усі ми є членами спільноти Аалто, де кожна людина однаково важлива та цінується. Ми очікуємо, що кожен член нашої спільноти буде діяти відповідно до наших цінностей, цінуючи та поважаючи один одного, співпрацюючи та відповідально. У нас нульова терпимість до всіх форм ненависті та переслідування.
Ця веб-сторінка присвячена ситуації в Україні, де ми будемо збирати новини, інформацію про різні форми підтримки та інші актуальні матеріали. Ми будемо регулярно оновлювати сторінку. Університет Аалто створив координаційну групу з питань України, яку очолює президент. Група координує дії Університету Аалто у відповідь на ситуацію в Україні, а також відповідає за відповідні комунікації та співпрацю з нашими партнерами та владою.

Якщо у вас виникнуть якісь проблеми чи запитання, що виникають у зв’язку з ситуацією на роботі чи під час навчання, пишіть на support@aalto.fi. Багатопрофесійна команда читатиме та оброблятиме всі повідомлення від студентів та співробітників на конфіденційній основі. Співробітники також можуть звернутися до служби охорони праці або до служби персоналу своєї школи чи підрозділу. Студенти можуть зв’язатися з Службою здоров’я студентів Фінляндії (FSHS), навчальними службами своєї школи або в Starting Point of Wellbeing.
Aalto University condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and expresses its support to Ukraine and its academic community. We strive to provide various forms of support to those affected by the war.

The financial situation of many Aalto students has become or will become more difficult due to the war. We are currently investigating forms of financial support for those students.
In addition, we offer study places and scholarships to Ukrainian students studying at Ukrainian universities as well as degree students who have received asylum from Ukraine. We are charting potential ways to help researchers working in Aalto’s fields who arrive here as refugees.
We have ensured that the work and studies of Aalto’s Ukrainian employees and students will not be interrupted during the war. We are also in contact with Russian and Belarusian members of our community to provide support.
Our alumni community has also expressed their strong support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. The Aalto alumni network board has asked the alumni for ideas on ways to help people in need.
Aalto University follows the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and Culture to refrain from all cooperation with Russian partner organisations. We will not initiate new projects and existing cooperation will be suspended for the time being.
We will adhere to the travel advice of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs which is calling for people to avoid travel to Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. We will actively work to find alternative exchange places for those who have planned to go on a student exchange in these countries. The exchange coordinators of each school will provide further assistance in this matter.
Regardless of the critical situation and our nationalities, we are all members of the Aalto community where every individual is equally important and valued. We expect every member of our community to act according to our values, appreciating and respecting each other, taking a cooperative and responsible approach. We have zero tolerance for all forms of hate speech and harassment.

Aalto University has established a coordination group for Ukraine-related matters, chaired by the president. The group coordinates the actions Aalto University will take in response to the situation in Ukraine and is in charge of the related communications and cooperation with our partners and the authorities.

Should you face any problems or questions arising from the situation at work or during your studies, please write to support@aalto.fi. A multi-professional team will read and treat all messages from students and staff on a confidential basis.
The staff may also contact occupational health care or the HR Services of their school or unit.
Students may contact the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS), the learning services of their school or the Starting Point of Wellbeing.
